Terms and Conditions
1. Warranty Coverage:
Solar Battery Range:
- Power Bank offers a 10-year warranty for the battery cells and a 3-year warranty for all other components of the solar battery unit.
- Warranty coverage commences from the date the unit is shipped from our warehouse.
12v to 36v RV/Marine Battery range:
- Power Bank offers a 5-year warranty for the battery cells and a 3-year warranty for all other components of the battery unit.
- Warranty coverage commences from the date the unit is shipped from our warehouse.
2. Warranty Conditions:
- Warranty is void if the unit has been incorrectly installed or if warranty stickers are broken or if the unit has been opened.
- Warranty time period starts from the time the unit is shipped from our warehouse.
Should the customer feel the need to send our product away for third party testing for any reason the following process must be followed for any potential warranty claims arising from the third-party testing to be valid.
- The customer must inform Power Bank of their intent to have the product tested by a third party and the reason for the test.
- The third-party testers must be qualified to test the product by either holding a valid electrical license or be qualified in the manufacturing of Lithium batteries.
- The third party must contact Power Bank prior to any testing taking place to inform us of the suggested testing procedures and methods so that we can accept that they are suitable for our product.
- Once the testing is completed should any defects be identified the product is to be shipped to Power Bank at the customers cost so that we may undertake our own tests to ensure we agree with the third-party findings.
- Should any defects be confirmed following our own testing the product will be repaired under our warranty conditions and the product will be shipped back to the customer at our cost.
- Please note that no third party may open our product under any circumstances and if they do so the warranty will be void.
3. Repair Process:
- In the event of a covered repair, the unit must be shipped back to Power Bank for service.
- Power Bank will cover all shipping and repair costs associated with valid warranty claims.
- Costs for removal or re-installation of the unit are not covered under the warranty.
4. Customer Responsibilities:
- Packaging the unit for shipping is the responsibility of the customer, and it must be appropriately secured to prevent damage during transit.
5. Cash Credits and Refunds:
- No cash credits or refunds will be provided once the unit has shipped from our warehouse, whether due to warranty claims or unwanted products.
- If we have already started to manufacture your product and you cancel the order a 25% restoking fee will apply.
6. Warranty Claim Process:
- All valid warranty claims will be repaired by Power Bank.
- Customers must notify Power Bank of any possible damage caused to any property by our product before making claims through insurance or other parties.
7. Investigations and Claims:
- Power Bank reserves the right to carry out any investigations required to ascertain the cause of the issue before any claims are made against us.
- Power Bank reserves the right to be the first to investigate events after any potential authorities have completed their investigations.
8. Other Terms:
- The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- Power Bank is not responsible for any damages or liabilities beyond the terms of the warranty.
- Any modifications or alterations to the product not authorized by Power Bank will void the warranty.
9. Shipping:
- All of our batteries are made to order. There for there is a lead time of 3 to 8 weeks from ordering to shipping. This lead may increase or decrease due to product stock and or shipping constraints around the world. However, we do our best to get you your product as fast as possible.
By purchasing and using Power Bank solar batteries, customers agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Power Bank reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Please contact our customer service for any warranty-related inquiries.
